15300 blue dial
Hi guys, I wanted to know from owners or experts something, I am interested in a 15300 blue dial from 2009.On the many pics the shop sent me, the dial has a kind of blue purplish color, does it really have a kind of purple color or is it just the lighting which gives that effect? Are there any issues about that particular year? Omega PO chrono vs Tag Grand Carrera 17RS
I am seriously thinking about buying an Omega PO chronograph, the version with the black dial, orange numbers and rubber black strap (reference 2910.51.82). The alternative option is the Tag Heuer Grand Carrera 17RS with black dial (you can see both watches side by side on the attached photo).I was thinking maybe you could help me choose between them. Appearance-wise, it seems to me that the omega is more classic and more sporty, while the tag is more original (different than most watches you would see) and more classy. The Tag has a transparent case-back which is a nice touch, though not really important. The omega is slightly bigger. The omega is more water-proof (600m vs 100m) but then again I am not a diver so it does not make any difference for me. Which would you choose as your first?
Anyone looking forward to getting the BB58
I'm going to get the BB58 in around July when it comes it. From the reports I have seen, it wears very similar to the 14060 and has all the modern traits. What I like about it though is how it floats under the radar. While I enjoy the Sub, Daytona and BLNR (dad now has!) there is something really cool about having a watch that only enthusiasts really understand. Say with a client and all they stare at is the Sub or the Daytona it can be a tad uncomfortable so I am really looking forward to this one. My aim to to wear it on leather/strap etc and even though the Pepsi x2 have taken the limelight I am genuinely excited by this one. My concern is they bring it out the with red bezel, which I prefer, but I think I'll just have both if they do. I think the Sub is on its way out as I haves scratched that itch and feel modern and new is what in prefer in Rolex. R

Got my first Rolex! It's a an 16570 explorer ii! It's from 2003, but it has never been worn and brand new in box so it's perfect condition and got a really good price for it too!The day after I went over to Barcelona and took a few pics ( my girlfriend is looking unimpressed as I've payed more attention to the new watch then her haha!)Really like it and also thinking of buying a spare black dial so I can change it around in the future too if I want!
