Introducing the Stowa Antea "Back to Bauhaus"
Until quite recently, Stowa was not a brand known for making waves. For much of its nearly 20-year history under the watchful eye of J?rg Schauer, Stowa has maintained a tightly curated catalogue of timepieces, among them the Flieger, Marine, Seatime, and Antea. The evolution of each watch has been an organic process, with small changes trickling out slowly over the years to include different case sizes, movements, and dial colors. Yet, few of these variations, including those released as limited editions, strayed far from the well established "look" of the brand. Then in 2013, Schauer, a designer as much as he is a watchmaker, sought to modernize the Stowa aesthetic, introducing the Flieger TO1 TESTAF and later the Flieger GMT. Would it make a good first Pam? Whats your take on it? Value? How about comparing it with others? Any pictures and opinions are appreciated. Thanks in advance.
BLNR, Hulk and Sub C for DD2?
HiI have never owned a gold Rolex and it's was always something i said I'd do one day... Promised one to myself for my 40th birthday (3 years away) but I'm thinking about doing it a bit earlierI'd need to trade a few of the ones I already own if I wanted to do it thoughI'd be trading the three listed in the title for a RG DD2 with black concentric or wave dialThis would leave me with Daytona C, AP Royal Oak Chrono, Pepsi GMT and Sub KermitWhat are your thoughts?
