Hi folks,Does anyone know when silicon balance spring was introduced into 324 movements?

ROLEX GMT 116710 JUMP HOUR HAND cal 3186 DURABILITY
How durable is the jump hour hand for the cal 3186 GMT 116710. I'm currently adjusting the date of mine. If today is say the 3rd and my date is at 18, i have to turn so much hours in order for my date to reach 3. Cant help to worry about the wear and tear.
