Knights of Gold: Roger Dubuis Excalibur Roundtable
With another season of HBO’s medieval fantasy drama “Game of Thrones” currently airing, it seems an appropriate time to revisit a timepiece from Roger Dubuis‘s flagship Excalibur collection, the Roger Dubuis Excalibur Round Table, a limited-edition model distinguished by its 12 sculptural “knights” stationed at each hour marker.Introduced at SIHH 2013 in Geneva, the watch depicts a scene from the legend of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table, the inspiration for the Excalibur family. Its colorful dial, whose design comes from a reproduction of the Arthurian Round Table made for King Henry VIII and placed in the Grand Hall of his castle in Winchester, is made of grand feu enamel. Arranged in a circle around the “table,” replacing each of the traditional hour markers, are 12 three-dimensional knight figures, cast in gold, with their fine details carved by hand, each only 7 mm tall (as in, small enough to fit under a shirt cuff).

The founder peter sounds a great honest punctual individual, which fills me with confidence. Has anyone else used this service? Ive been quoted �2,000 (euros) which is reasonable. Hello all...Have come across 1 my fave watches of all time second hand in a high end watch retailer...It is a 2012 daytonaC rose gold with box and papersAnd is going for ��16450. I may be able to get it for 16k.Do you guys think this is a good second hand price? I know depends on condition but im guessing its 9/10 minimum as all their watches are top quality. How much do tou guys think i would lose on that if god forbid 1 day i had to sell it?Cheers pic below
