7 “Tribute to the Military” Watches
Wristwatches have long been useful tools in military life, and over the years various watch brands have created special timepieces to honor certain branches of the armed forces and those that support them. Here we re-present our updated list of seven “Tribute to the Military” watches. IWC Schaffhausen, a watch brand with deep roots in making military-grade pilots’ watches, introduced its Big Pilot’s Watch Top Gun collection in 2007. Created in cooperation with the United States Navy Fighter Weapons School, known widely as “Top Gun,” the collection was expanded in 2012 with the addition of the IWC Big Pilot’s Watch Top Gun Miramar, a distinctly military-styled watch named for, and paying tribute to, the area in California where the Navy’s elite Top Gun pilots receive their training. How snug is your bracelet?
Got my first AP (metal bracelet) today and had it sized at the shop.After walking around a bit outside, I felt that it was a bit too snug, so I went back to the shop and had them put a link back in. Now, I am concerned that its too loose!Generally speaking, I like my watches to be snug and sit above my wrist bone. However, now, with that extra link back in, it becomes really loose when I am indoors with air conditioning, but when I'm outside, with the humidity it feels just right... Does anyone have any advice with this? Will the bracelet break in and get any looser? I get really OCD when the watch drops past my wrist bone.Your advice is greatly appreciated...E

Mistake;Saw a 5164 Aquanaut at AD; not a 5124!
This was a 5164 Aquanaut Travel Time. Also saw a 5712 blue dial. Awesome!
