SIHH: Jaeger-LeCoultre Grande Reverso Duo
Jaeger-LeCoultre created the first Reverso Duo in 1994 when they replaced the Reverso's shield with a second time display. A single movement powered both sets of hands in opposite directions, with each display being independently adjustable. With this stroke, JLC reinvented the GMT watch. The new Grande Reverso Duo is distinguished by its generous dimensions and by a dial design that has been entirely rethought to provide enhanced aesthetics and greater readability. The travel time zone is adjustable via the crown and located on the front side. In order to maintain the precision of the minutes and seconds, the adjustment is performed in one-hour jumps of the hour hand. To make everything user friendly, the date follows the travelers local time display and can jump both forwards and backwards. Great Service from APSC Clearwater!
The crown on my 15400 had worked its way loose so I decided to send it in to Clearwater for a checkup and a pressure test to activate the 3rd year warranty. The whole process was extremely smooth and communication from AP was exceptional. I got phone calls and emails confirming they received my watch, time for completion (estimated 1 month), service confirmation and notification of shipping home. They performed a full service of the movement under warranty and extended the warranty by an additional 2 years. Best of all the whole process was completed in just 3 weeks. The watch was VERY WELL packaged when it returned and even got the nice AP travel case. I know many of you have dealt with APSC before and had similar experience but for those of you that haven't AP is among the best when it comes to service and customer satisfaction. I am looking at my next move and as a lot of you can't take the diver out of my mind, just not sure with the size, anyone has a side by side witn a 15400 or an Exp 2 with a diver?TksSimon

New Seamaster!!! WOOHOO!
Well folks. My wonderful wife gave me my dream watch for my Birthday. An Omega Seamaster 2221.80. Have wanted one of these since 1995. (I realize that was a different model [2541.80]but this is my Bond watch I have coveted for so long) Very excited to finally join the Omega Ranks. Beautiful!Taken with Phone camera.
