Bring a Loupe: A Girard-Perregaux Olimpico With Full Set, Some Killer Enicar Chronographs, And A Few
This Bring A Loupe focuses on vintage watches that fly under the radar for a lot of collectors, but that are really worth looking at. This week you will not find any Universal Geneve, Heuer, Rolex or Patek; but keep reading. You will indeed discover a rarely seen Girard-Perregaux Olimpico, a couple of Enicars, and maybe the most Seventies chronograph ever made, from Revue. The purpose of this unusual selection is twofold: to introduce you to little-known yet really attractive vintage watches, and also provide you with some Christmas suggestions at interesting price points. This is your Bring A Loupe for December 18, 2015. A Girard-Perregaux Olimpico Reference 9075, Simply A Very Cool Chronograph 1 OF 10 For me, this was the most exciting find of the week. New shoes for my CE Diver
Just received the orange rubber strap from APSC. Love this combo!
Is this a fair price for a pre-owned 2011 Aquanaut 5167?
Good condition. Keeps time well and not polished.Has all the papers/box etc. Bought on December 2011. Not been serviced.Buyer is asking for USD $15,000.What do you guys think?I have seen brand new ones for $18,000. Would you think this is a fair price?I like to buy being on the safe side because based on my previous experiences, I have ended up selling some of my watches a few months after purchase.I just want to make sure I won't take a big hit if it came to that and I just didn't bond with the watch very much.
So....which, if any rumors turned out to be correct?
I did see one successful prediction.....a member predicted it would be a Pepsi instead of Coke. Other than that???
Trade SubC for Pelagos?
Per the thread title.I know it sounds crazy, but I can't help but feel there's a redundancy in my collection with the Hulk and Black SubC.I tried on the Pelagos today and really liked it - especially the luminous bezel and the lightweight titanium feel. I feel like it would be a lot more comfortable when going diving or swimming with it, as the Sub is pretty heavy by comparison. Would love to hear thoughts from current Pelagos owners!
