Swiss watchmaker Girard-Perregaux released a special, limited-edition model of its Sea Hawk Pro 1000m divers’ watch at a special event at New York’s Museum of Modern Art on June 5. Hosted by environmental conservationists Susan and David Rockefeller, Jr., the evening’s highlight was the New York premiere screening of Mission of Mermaids, Susan Rockefeller’s new documentary about protecting the oceans. As some of you may know, I am a die hard PP collector/enthusiast. That's not to say I don't appreciate other brands...it's just simply where I choose to put my horological investment. So that being said, let me confess, it takes something pretty special from AP to really get my motor running. Over the years there's been a number of these special pieces from Le Brassus I have pined for...but until recently never acted upon. Back in the spring when I saw the press release for the Royal Oak chronograph QEII Cup limited edition, I thought to myself I have to have one! So after months of searching, hours spent surfing, etc...I finally have one. Let me just say the search was worth it in the end, this piece is truly amazing.Upon opening the box and seeing the watch for the first time, I immediately noticed how the metal had a somewhat of a muted grey-hue to it that clearly distinguished it from stainless steel. Should I sell either my Airking 116900 or Milgauss black for a new Submariner 116400.
I have finally located a new Submariner (no date ) at RRP and now have a dilemma whether to part with my Airking 116900 or Milgauss Black dial 116400. one has to go to finance the deal but am torn which one to shed.One part of me says keep the Milgauss as it look more of a dress watch and the Sub being a sports model. Any thoughts??

Removing oyster bracelet links
Hi guys, Just a quick question, When removing the links from the oyster bracelet on either 12 or 6 ��o clock side, is it best to remove the links closest to the clasp first or the link closest to the lugs?
