Picked this up Sunday (thanks Mike). Traded in Schumi (which I still love), but can't keep them all. I wish AP would make the rubber strap for this one (it appears the blue strap on the new 42mm Navy would work perfectly due to the darker color blue, but need AP to make it for the 44mms).PS--thanks to Martin and Hamish for the input on this piece!
Okay this will be...
My last watch for a long time...I have really enjoyed the past few years wearing so many different watches. I have loved and enjoyed all of them. Some times I had to sell or trade them only to fund the next one. But then months later I would find a way to buy it back (crazy yes I know). Anyway, I am now ready to complete my collection by adding an AP to the mix. I am torn between the AP Diver and the Panda. Please help by showing me some photos, wrist shots of the two watches. Why is the Headwind such a tough watch to
track down? I have been posting in all the forums that I would like to buy this watch but to no avail. Were they a limited production or do the owners just not want to sell them?
Speedy with sapphire crystal and exhibition back
Hi, I have a chance to pick up a Speedmaster at a decent price. I've always envisioned the classic Speedy to have a Hesalite crystal with a solid case back. The one I can buy has the sapphire crystal with the exhibition case back.Just wondering what the perception is of a Speedy in the above stated config.Thanks in advance!
Best Nautilus / Aquanaut combination - what would you choose
I'm about to pull the trigger and will buy 1 Nautilus and 1 Aquanaut. Models I love are:-Aquanaut 5167r and both 5164's.Nautilus - 5712 g and a and 5726a with leather strap. The crazy wait time for 5711a is just too much for me.If you could have 1 of each which would you choose and why???I'm erring towards 5712g and 5167r just now. Thin case profiles, 1 complicated and 1 time only watch and of course different metals. Sadly, the Premium for 5164r is just a little too much!Which would you choose and why?
