Hands-On: With The Piaget Altiplano Skeleton, Now in Rose Gold
The Altiplano Skeleton from Piaget is one of our (and the collective watch loving community's) favorite high-grade open worked watch.? The classic 38mm size plus the incredible skeleton work on the completely in-house Piaget self-winding movement is simply superb.? While it's been available in white gold for a while, at SIHH last month, we saw it introduced in rose gold with a blackened movement. The thing looks awesome.? Here are pics: 2 OF 4 3 OF 4 4 OF 4

Tried out this beast today!!!
Royal oak tourbillon, felt like a solid brick of elvish craftsmanship. A great size at 41mm and the dial/case are a match made in heaven. The bracelet is thin, yet strong and well engineered (obviously haha) it also finds a way to drape nicely (hard to tell here cause my wrists are small!) without feeling flimsy at all. I am a fan of the royal oak, always have been, but this peice far surpasses the feeling of specialness I get from most models. I dubbed it the golden snitch it just seems to fit. What do you guys think? Worth the 200k price tag? Or would you go with the concept GMT tourbillon?
Are you a strap addict?
So I've been spending way too much time looking at straps lately. The last time this happened a few years ago, I ended up with a box full of straps and even more Panerais (you of course need more watches when you have so many straps! ). It took me 4 months to purge all the straps (and most of my PAMs). Fortunately I caught myself and came to my senses last night after I ordered my third strap this week. I won't fall into that expensive trap again. You can buy a new Rolex on what some of us have spent on straps! So how many is too many? Does 5 straps per size seem reasonable?
New Steel BLRO...does the oyster bracelet fit?
or is it jubilee only?
