Diver Appreciation Thread!
I posted this on TZ but I think we need one on TRF too. Let's see em, folks! Be they steel, forged carbon, ceramic, on rubber, on a bracelet, on a strap, in a house, on a train, in a car...I do like AP Divers, Jordan I am.
Advice on My Next Timepiece
I am currently searching for a new watch next to my beloved Blue 15400, 116610LV, and JeanRichard Terrascope. I have narrowed down my search list to three; 1) 5711 White, 2) 26470 Grey (elephant)3) 15202 I SeriesWhich one would be the perfect addition in your opinion? Thanks,
Photo Essay of Audemars Piguet Pavilion at the SIHH 2015
Ok guys, now the rest of the pictures that typically don't get shown as the novelties take the center stage. Here's a photo essay that will show you what the AP pavilion looks like at the SIHH. Also at the end there's an epic wristshot with Olivier Audemars. Hope you like it..watchcollectinglifestyle....-a-photo-essay
Winding & Scratching
I have the below PAM 111. I find that when I wind the watch up, my thumb is continually scratching the polished part of the case. It's not like I have fingers made of sandpaper. Never have this problem with any of my other watches, as the crown will come out one position prior to being wound, where the PAM stays flush against the case. Suggestions other than moisturizing my hands. Haha.
Should future value threads be banned?
This morning I read a future value thread inquiring what % of a portfolio should be in watches (my fault for reading). Obviously, some members like these threads and some do not. And I mean no disrespect to those who do like these threads, but....I know that this is not a democracy and we do not get to vote on what threads are permitted. I also know that the moderators already do a thankless job and have more on their plate than we can imagine. So it would probably not be practicable. But....If this was a democracy, would you vote to ban future value threads?
