Parmigiani Fleurier And Bugatti Lifestyle
Every year, for one week, the beautiful Pebble Beach area is home to the most comprehensive and extravagant multi-show for car collectors and car enthusiasts on the planet: The Concours d'Elegance. What makes this super show special is that there is something for every car lover: from concept cars, to modern marvels, to the supercars, and the wonderful race cars of the past and present. In 2014, Parmigiani Fleurier?celebrated 10 years of partnership with the French (now German-owned) car manufacturer Bugatti, who makes some of the most coveted supercars in the world, most notably, the world record holder for fastest production car: The Bugatti Veyron. Since Pebble Beach is a short drive from where I live in Silicon Valley, I was more than happy to make the drive to spend a few days living the Bugatti and Parmigiani lifestyle, in what I found to be?one of the most beautiful places in the world. What follows here is a short report on this "dream" lifestyle from my experience at the Concour
Happy New Year from my new 5960/1A
Hi everyone. My first post here and wanting to wish you all a very Happy New Year and show you my new 5960/1A. Best thing I ever purchased. So happy here.
First Patek Philippe purchase tomorrow.... Excited
After owning Rolex, IWC and Breitling for many years I'm now taking the plunge to the dizzy heights with a 5712G-00..... This watch has blown me away by the looks and everything about it after trying it on my wrist the other week (your thoughts on this watch would be appreciated). This is to be paid with some of my late fathers inheritance money he left to me... He wasn't a watch man but i feel this is something i feel right to do.... any photos of yours out there would be nice to view in the meantime... Wish me luck entering my pin number tomorrow..
Accuracy update--Rolex OP 116000 Concentric Dial
Hello, Rolex folks!Getting back to the forum after a long absence!I've had my 116000 OP (M-serial) Concentric black dial for nearly 9 months now. Figured I would share an accuracy report, beginning with November 25, 2017. The watch has not stopped since, and a winder has not been used, therefore it's depended upon wrist action and manual winding combined. I am posting the entire series of WatchCheck screenshots from 11.25 through 03.10.18 (yesterday). You will notice a few large(r) drops or loss in time (usually occurred when off the wrist at least 1.5 days without any manual winding occurring; significant drops (a couple of these, deviation of about -30s) always occurred when the watch was quite literally within about the last hour of power reserve. One recent significant gain (+10, inst rate) was when I accidentally pulled it out to set time while winding, so I added a few seconds by my own error. As you can see, accuracy is now at avg +0.2 s per day over the last four months! Witho
