We found that clients often have a family connection with Omega
Our long heritage gives us some advantage. We found that clients often have a family connection with Omega; they are attracted by our long history in space or they like James Bond. These and other factors can establish a special relationship between a client and our brand. Internet, potential customers are better informed than they have ever been to it, but the final decision, nothing can replace the trip to retailers. Their decision ultimately depends is how the watch looks on their wrist and how it is their sense.
Does a Blue PO 42mm Exist?
I have seen this watch, and really like it! I seem to only find it in 45mm though which is too large for me.Is it possible that a 42mm version of this watch exists and I am just missing it? I have also seen a chrono, but pretty sure chronos are usually bigger cases so thats out of the question :bang head:Let me know, in the meantime here is some eye candy!
5070p
Patek made many nice watches the last decades ... but if you ask me, nothings comes even close to the 5070.And in this case the 5070PTested a new camera / lens yesterdayLooking at the pics I once again realized how perfect this watch is :-)BTW, one of the days or weeks I ll make a post with every 5070 :-) I'll see some friend watch collectors and not so long ago somebody bought the GThis makes it possible to photograph the complete set :-)
36mm Oyster Perpetual vs Datejust
I'm looking at a future purchase for the wife. We've narrowed it down to the Oyster Perpetual 36 and the DateJust 36.For the stainless steel models, the DJ ($6600) is a little more than the OP ($5400), but has more options (dial, bezel, bracelet, etc).My wife doesn't care for the date. On her current watches, she just has me to change the date for her. But, in talking with her, she doesn't mind either of the two watches. My questions are... 1. Is one better than the other in terms of holding its value?2. Is one better than the other in terms of getting a discount?3. For a possible resale later on, is there a big difference in getting the oyster bracelet vs the jubilee bracelet (if we go with the datejust)?4. Lastly, is there anything else I should be thinking about, that I haven't mentioned?
16710 originality
Being offered this watch and considering it as a beater to complement my 16750 matte when I want a water proof/etc watch. It is a W serial, it has papers. I know the dial is not original. Appears to be a Swiss Made service dial. Is the bezel correct for the watch? Have not seen the stamping on bracelet yet. Im thinking of offering $5000-5500 knowing the issues. Am I low or high? Dealer took this in against a new watch. Thanks guys!
