Hamilton Khaki Pilot 46mm Automatic Watch
[Ed. note - since I've seen Hamilton screw up designs before, I look closely at each new release to make sure they look 'proper.' This one is interesting, and actually feels retro in a fresh way. You'll have to love large applied metal numerals - and I sense the polish on them is "unique."]A big stainless steel case, wide and easy-to-read dial, military inspired triangular marker at twelve, thick leather strap with rivets. Where have I seen this watch before? Hamilton has not re-invented the wheel with the Khaki Pilot 46. Is is their take on the classic "Big Pilot" style inspired by watches worn by military aviators of the Thirties and Forties. This look has been undertaken by so many manufacturers that it has become almost as iconic as the Submariner style. While there is not much new that can be added to such a watch without looking gimmicky and departing from the true big pilot style, Hamilton has successfully incorporated some unique details and more importantly their ability to of

Omega
I have made no secret of the fact that I like Omega watches. I find them to be very robust, exceptionally well built, attractive and comfortable. I have a pretty nice, but modest, Omega collection going right now.I have also made no secret of the fact that I am looking for the perfect watch. I realize it is not necessarily realistic. But I am thinking the Seamaster might be exactly what I have been looking for. Simple, clean, swim proof, attractive, comfortable and lume that lasts all night. Yet even with all that, the blue was kind of getting to me. I love the color, but it can be a lot every day. So I picked up the black as well. I put the adjustable clasp on both and my speedy too. I will actually put the blue one on a black rubber with deployment. But I wanted to have the adjustable clasp for when I do put it back on steel. I love the fact that these watches are all relatively reasonable in terms of price as well.
I finally got it ! (35.70.50)
Hi there... Yesterday was my day...I finally purchased my first Omega... and consequently my first Moon Watch !I'm happy, and I'll post some photos as soon as possible !
is SD43 too big
.....for me?been eyeing the SD43, possibly for upcoming 50th bday.Unfortunately, the ADs near me doesn't have one in stock for me to try on. So I tried on the YMII, which supposedly have similar size to the SD43. (slightly wider at 44mm, but slightly lower on profile vs SD43 15mm) what do u guys think on my 7.25 wrist ? (the bracelet is obviously little loose)I think its ok.... possibly little too big since my sweet spot seems to fall 40-41mm. Thought I could pull off 43mm. hahahaWondering if the black face of the SD43 will make it appear smaller....Also tried on the BLRO, which I knew would look great. lolPerhaps I should just get that for my 50th.... thx in adv !
