Difference between 15300BA and 15300OR
I wonder about the difference between 15300BA and 15300OR, both being the same size and in red gold? I notice that the OR version is valued higher by Chrono24 (about $2000 difference)(15300BA.OO.D088CR.01 and 15300OR.OO.D088CR.01)

Curiosity what members would choose, I think they both are classics and uniquely special with the splash of color they provide, given a choice which would you choose?I figured the AP sub forum would get the most balanced response as (i think its safe to say) we all know what a Daytona is, but i think its a cultivated appreciation that brings us to the Jumbo. Opinion for a first time AP buyer
Hey guys, In the upcoming couple of months I have decided that I am going to buy myself a royal oak. I am torn between a two models.The 41 MM Rose gold Chronograph on a bracelet or the 42 MM Rose Gold rubberclad. The salesperson at the boutique in NYC told me that they are going to be updating the ROO 42 mm for 2014 (In house movement to replace JLC specifically on that watch). I am unsure if they are going to do anything aesthetically. Which would you go for first?

For 4 years up until last year I happily wore the previous version Planet Ocean on my wrist. It was a great watch, a design I admired, a watch I assumed would be my grail when it first came out in 2005. Quandary
I am in a bit of a quandary on what to do about a potential watch swap. I know this is not the vintage side put I would like to field for a opinions over here because I am not typically a vintage watch guy.Several years ago my father whom is still around gave his late 70's Submariner 5513 to my brother who has since passed. The watch went to my young niece who has no interest in it other than it was her dads and she knows I'm nuts about it.I now have the opportunity to put it into my collection. It should be a for a fair price is all original has box and papers with a very certain history. Now the question. What are your thoughts on selling my 14060M no box and papers to partially fund it? I generally don't like to fund a watch with a watch but i really don't need or desire to have two such similar watches. My current collection is the 14060M, 92 GMT Master 2 Pepsi, Ceramic Daytona, Explorer 39, and Speedmaster Pro. So I do have modern pieces and transitional. I have never owned a plas
