Roger Dubuis EasyDiver Blackswan Watch
As a supplement to the new for 2010 EasyDiver collection (that I wrote about here), Roger Dubuis has released a limited edition EasyDiver Black Swan watch you see before you. These are all revisions of years of EasyDiver watches and/or other sport models from Roger Dubuis - most have been good, all have been interesting. The Black Swan, as it is called, is named as such for use of a black ceramic bezel. While ceramic bezels are no longer particularly uncommon, this one is interesting given how complex the shape is. It is still not nearly as easy to cut ceramic as it is metal. For instance, how many square ceramic cases have you seen? While I don't know the particular ins and outs of how the bezel was made, I would guess it is significantly more complex than just a ring-shaped ceramic bezel. The complexity comes in with the notches and the numerals done in reliefwatches-dealerpared to the watches from 2010 the Black Swan certain has more of a night look. I would go so far as to say "blac
Perrelet Diamond Flower Double Rotor Women's Watch
Flower Petals and Diamonds and Rubies What else would you want your watch to be made up of?Diamonds set upon the unique double rotor?Powered by the motions of your wrist?Sold.Perrelet, a seemingly quiet brand with TONS of potential, is going beyond print ads and marketing materials with this elegant video of the Perrelet Diamond Flower Rotor Watch. Which is a brilliant idea, especially for this model. How else would a woman, or a man, be able to truly understand the beauty at play here?Set with diamonds and rubies, the Perrelet Diamond Flower Rotor Watch defines its aesthetic both inside and out. While it's lovely to think of the weight of a mechanic watch being cast in gold or platinum, and often with guilloche patterns mimicking the face of the dial, this Perrelet Diamond Flower Rotor Watch goes one step further with the double rotor rotating both inside and out.Designing this watch with a double rotor is unique, difficult to construct, and mesmerizing to witness. And is the perfec
Anyone have a Speedmaster GMT 3581.30?
I just bought a Rolex GMT - so now I have started thinking about my next purchase. On the short list, is a Omega GMT Speedmaster. A local jeweler just sold one on eBay and I was able to check it out before he shipped it. LOVE IT it was mint condition and sold for $2,800 (no reserve auction)that is A LOT of watch for under $3k !!!!!!!!! Since MSRP is $7,200 - of course I'm buying used. I would like hear from anyone out there who owns one and what they think of it. thanks....
Need advice on choosing my first Patek - 5146g
Hi All,My first post in this forum. I have been looking around for the next piece in my collection and have decided to go for my first Patek. I have decided on the AC 5146g and wanted to get everyone's advice on color, movement and deployant buckle. Firstly, my current collection includes a Vacheron Constantin Patrimony in white gold (ref. 81180/000G-9117), Rolex GMT Master II (ref. 16710), '68 Omega Speedmaster Professional (pre-moon transitional), Panerai PAM 328 (Luminor Marina 1950 3-day automatic). I will most likely sell the PAM as I have recently bought the Speedy and want to give it and the GMT II a little more wrist time. I also find that the PAM is really just too big and heavy on my wrist. So, I have a few questions regarding the 5146g. Firstly, color. I definitely want white gold but am trying to decide between the ivory and the slate grey. I have seen a lot of pictures online and have seen both watches in person. The wife likes the grey but in the dealer's shop, I
Online reseller warranty?
Hey everyone- i have a question about buying a Rolex or Tudor from Jomashop for example... I've been eyeing the Tudor BB Steel&Gold, I would pick it up from a seller here on TRF but hardly ever see one for sale. Jomashop's price is a bit cheaper than an AD- and was wondering if the watch comes with TUDOR's two-year warranty or just what Jomashop offers? I never purchased a watch from an online reseller such as Jomashop or Authenticwatches etc. Do folks here buy from these places? As always- Much Appreciated Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
