Introducing The Breitling Transocean Chronograph Edition
We like good Breitling, and the new Transocean Chronograph doesn't disappoint. This model hankers for its roots a bit more than its predecessor with a vintage-feeling scheme and a simpler dial layout. Best of all, and unlike the earlier model, the Transocean Chronograph features a sapphire case back to showcase manufacture wares. 2 OF 4 The new model starts off with a 43 mm case (foreshadowing what's inside) in highly-polished stainless steel with steeply curved lugs. Like most Breitlings, you're bound to feel every millimeter of it. The dial has what Breitling calls "twinzone silver dcor," but it's more along the lines of champagne in color. The tachymeter scale (probably excessive on this watch) is still on the outer perimeter of the dial, only this time a darker disc highlights the applied hour markers and date window at 6 o'clock. 3 OF 4 Is the date window necessary? It probably is if you're a pilot or someone along those lines, but we're not sure of ho
15202 or 15400??
I am heading towards a 3 watch collection lifestyle and have already chosen the 2 first, a PP 5712 in SS, a Rolex sub LV aka the Hulk, and as a third am pulled towards an AP RO, but am hesitating a lot, until today between a Dual time or plain dial, and now between the 2 models mentioned above, in any case in blue, I know my PP will have a blue dial but it's my fav color.just don't know which to put, the Jumbo looks great but is only 39mm, have never tried one but like 40mm+, for me the PP 5712 is at the limit of my size factors, it's ok because very thin, so don't know about the JUMBO.About the 15400 I like the 41mm and the fact that there is a second hand.Is there a difference between the 2121 movement and the 3120? Except that the 3120 has a second hand? For thickness it's 1,7mm difference, in other words almost nothing. The Jumbo blue dial looks lighter blue than the 15400 on the site's pics, is it really the case or just a lighting question? Also do the dials change color like Nauti
Rumours of the 5167 being discontinued....
Seems like there are some rumours going around that the 5167 is going to be discontinued this year... Curious what everyone has heard, or thoughts on this? Will be interesting to see what happens to the 5167 value should this happen.I guess all will be revealed soon!
6 Watch Display Insert for PAM Special Edition Box
Having too many PAM watches and don't know how to store and display them smartly is a big headache for some of us. Most aftermarket watch boxes are too small to accommodate the big 45mm and 47mm PAM models. Specially handcrafted by a fellow friend to original PAM SE Box specifications. Constructed of MDF, handcut and wrapped manually using the finest 4 way stretch soft touch PU black leather as per the original material (black leather is chosen over black felt material as it is easier to maintain and clean). Holds 6 PAM watches that fits perfectly in your SE box for the perfect setting. Would appreciate comments. Thanks.
