Hublot Congratulates Miami Heat For NBA Championship By Giving The Entire Organization White Hot Big Bangs
The Miami Heat won the NBA Championship last week - quickly silencing all the critics of LeBron James' decision to take his talents to South Beach.? It was LeBron's first championship, and the second title for the Heat since 2006.? To celebrate this, team sponsor Hublot decided to give the entire organization watches.? But not just any watches - big, white watches.? Called the White Hot Big Bang, these Hublots are engraved on the back with the Heat logo and date of the championship.? They were presented to not only players, but the coaching staff of the team.??Conspicuously absent from the festivities was, well, the man everyone really wanted to see, series MVP LeBron James.? James is, of course, an ambassador for chief Hublot competitor Audemars Piguet (read an interview with James conducted by Ben Clymer about his collaboration witih AP here).?No official word on how many watches in total were given out, but the official retail price of this model is $14,800.? Curious why the White H
Thinking of getting a new PO.
Good day all, I was thinking about possibly getting a new Omega Planet ocean in the next few months (more specifically, the 2900.50.91 with the rubber strap). The thing is, I currently have the SMP bond auto (2531.80), and with all the hype of the new Planet Ocean, and new movement (Co-axel), etc. I figure I would try one out. You guys think it's worth it to get the new PO, or save my money, and just keep what I have (well, I'm going to keep it anyway lol). Any thoughts and comments on the PO are very welcome :)
elaborate history of Broad Arrow range.
Respected guys/ladies of the TRFplease enlighten me to the history of the Broad Arrow Speedmaster range, as in when was it introduced and as we have seen little or hardly any changes in the Speeedmasters generally, has the Broad Arrow range also been this same or what were its older models?and further, I have got the idea that there is a history/story of why the words 'Professional are used with Speedmaster and Seamasters but I dont know exactly...plz do elaborate on that too.thank you very muchregards,Asad Abbas Awan
5165 buy or not?
Hi all, I would like to know what you think about the 5165? Is there a big difference between the 315/293 Caliber and the 324? I think that the 5165 movement is not in-house while the 324 is, can someone tell me where the 315/293 came from if not from Patek and is it a good movement, were there issues with it?Since I will be living in Thailand soon and want a daily beater for sports and swimming do you think it's ok? Can't seem to find the WR on it, one site says 70m, another 100m, does anyone know?I am interested in it because I like the fact that it's not made anymore, there are only 2 on chrono 24, the fact that it's 2mm less doesn't really bother me, I will go see one this week in Paris and see how it fits, it's from 2008 and has been serviced and polished by Patek, so it should look like new, the price is 13.200 but I should be able to get for a little less.Basically I don't care about retaining value as if I get one I probably would keep it a very long time as a daily beater, goi
