Any and all options for changing a gold (YG or RG) 39mm Chrono RO's band to strap?
Howdy all, I am in the market for a 39 mm rose or yellow gold RO chrono with a bracelet. I want the option to change from bracelet to strap. From reading a post or two I understand you need the end links and screws with caps for an aftermarket strap.... however, where do I get solid gold end links to connect from the case to the strap? Also, I need a clasp or deployment. I saw there is a conversion kit via the ap bands website for yellow gold models, but its 500 bucks and gold plated... not solid. Im not really interested in gold plated.Anybody have additional suggestions for aftermarket options for the links and clasp? Or anybody have an OEM version they are looking to sell? THANKS A MIL
Vintage SM300 Rubber Strap
Need suggestions for a rubber strap for my SM300. The OEM bracelet has a single snap clasp that is not secure enough for daily use, I've had it primarily on a NATO but if I get it wet in the shower or at the pool it takes 4 hours to dry so I'd like to get a rubber strap or another steal bracelet (not mesh) to put it on. Any and all suggestions welcome for a 20MM wide bracelet/strap.
5712 or 5205 or 5164A
Hi allNew to the forum and first time poster. Enjoy all your posts and discussions so thanks a lot!Wonder If you're be so kind as to give me some advice as i'm looking to purchase my first PP.I really love the Nautilus 5712 and but they're so hard to come by. I may have a lead on a G but the G seems a little bland to me. Lack of contrast with the white gold and dial? The R is gorgeous but will need to wait a while to source one. The R is pretty flashy though and I'm a relatively low key guy.The Aquanaut 5164A is beautiful but also super hard to come by... i travel a lot so this may come in handy and I think it would be a great daily watch. The rubber strap seems pretty casual but I suppose one could dress it down or up.My AD has a 5205R black dial ready to go and I could probably get it at the same price as a 5712. It's beautiful but again a bit flashy and more formal. The 5205G is available too but again seems a little bland? If I get a 5712 then I see little point in getting an Aquana
