Mhle Glashtte Terranaut III Trail Watch
Over the last few years my level of interest in Mhle Glashtte watch has increased a fair amount. Their sport offerings are getting more cleverly designed, and this Terranaut III Trail is a slick looking casual sport watch that looks like it borrows a page out of the Bell & Ross playbook. What you essentially have is a simple 40mm wide steel watch with two dial and two case options that seems to work for most activity minded guys. What were the Terranaut I and II watches all about you ask? Well actually the collection complete with versions I, II, and III already exist and you can read more about them here. This new version is the "Terranaut III Trail" and adds a model that looks appropriate to wear while and while not driving a Land Rover through the bush. Like I said the cases are 40mm wide and done in steel. Both dials are available in PVD black steel as well. The cases have AR coated sapphire crystals and are water resistant to 100 meters. Style wise the cases are fine. They do
TAG Heuer Formula 1 Chronograph Diamonds Watch is up to 660 feet water resistance
This watch has stainless steel case with corresponding stainless steel strip measuring 16 mm wide. The mother of pearl dial is coupled with a stationary stainless steel bezel, obviously with diamonds. In the case of youre request, the TAG Heuer formula 1 chronograph diamonds Watch has 120 diamonds everywhere. Knowing that, you understand now why this is a price highly. You will be surprised that it is resistant to water by up to 660 feet.
GMT or DJII
Hey Guys,Moving on to my second watch.last year my wife purchased a BLNR for my 35th Birthday.Loved the watch... honestly grew tired of the Black and Blue combo and we had an investment opportunity come up .. so we sold this along with a couple other toys to invest. Now back and looking to make my 2nd purchase on a RolexOur local AD has 2 that has caught my attention and I'm trying to decide between the two..He has offered either at 8k and there will be not tax... is that a good deal for either of these or could I do better?we paid full bit for the BLNR 9k and no tax when we purchased it Please post pictures and provide any input you have.I was an overall fan of the BLNR and he has an all black version so it is one of my two contenders especially as I think the solid black bezel will go with everythingthe other the DJII - Its a Blue dial / Fluted Bezel.. It feels both sporty and a little more dressy. But I wonder if it may be a bit flashyIf it was Black dial I think I might get a bi
Rolex Cellini...horrible resale values!!!
So, I am looking at purchasing a pre-owned Cellini Danaos 4233 or 4243. I am jonesing for a dress watch. Why is the resale value so horrible on these things? I would never buy one BNIB even with a good discount because I would take a bath if I decided to sell. I was gung-ho on the larger 4243 model, but the 4233 probably represents a better value. I can get a pre-owned 4233 with all the goodies for upper 2s to lower 3s. Only negative is that it does not have any lume, which could take getting used to.
My fellow obsessives
Is the shade/color of the blue dial the same on the DJ 41 as the Day/Date white gold model? I believe the latter dial is a slightly brighter blue. Thoughts? Also, what are your opinions of the way the Roman numerals are laid out on the white gold Day/Date models? For example, instead of IV for the number 4, it reads llll. Why do you think they chose that layout? Aesthetics?
