Back to the Past: Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Ultra Thin 1948
The iconic Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso has had many incarnations since its debut as a watch for polo players in 1931. One of the most recent is the Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Ultra-Thin 1948, a classically elegant watch that revives the look of the Reverso model that heralded the style of the 1950s.The Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Ultra-Thin 1948 is distinguished from other Reverso models by the inscription “Fabriqu en Suisse” (“made in Switzerland”) on the dial, just below the Jaeger-LeCoultre logo, a nod to the 1948 original. The traditional Reverso swiveling case, with its Art Deco-inspired rectangular shape and distinctive gadroons, is made of stainless steel. True to its name, the watch is very slender, just 7.3 mm thick despite its contemporary large dimensions (46.8 x 27.4 mm).? My new Rolex Sub has fine scratches on crystal..any advice?
Hello guys.I need you guys advice.I just bought a brand new Rolex Sub no date two days ago from my local Rolex AD. However, what I have found is there are so many fine tiny hairline scratches on the crystal. The scratches are only visible when the sunlight is directly at certain angle. I never scrub or bang the crystal. This Sub is my third Rolex but the two old my Rolex watches (2013 Sub no-date and 2015 Sub date) had the same issue. I thought I made the scratches by some reasons due to I owned them a few years. But now I certainly realized it was not me.Like I said, it is very clean and clear in normal but when the sunlight or bright lights at certain angle, the fine scratches will be shown. I have a few Panerai, Tudor, and Omega watches but I will definitely say they don't have any kind of the fine hairline scratches on the crystal. I have checked all of them with the same angle under the sunlight that I did on my Rolex. Is the hairline fine scratches on the crystal common thing on
