In two days, the first watches-dealer Instagram-based giveaway for THREE Ancon watches we have undertaken in partnership with Canadian watch retailer Matt Baily, will end. The giveaway involves people uploading images to Instagram with the #anconatmattbaily tag and then people voting on their favorite pictures. The top three pictures (that follow the rules) will each receive an Ancon watch.Now, you need to vote (by liking the photos). So, take a few minutes to see some fantastic watch photos from fellow readers and vote for your favorites! You can either use Instagram on your phone and search for hashtag #anconatmattbaily or use Statigram here (you'll still need to log in with your Instagram account) to vote for the best pictures. Back of RO no finished...
Hi! Dumb question of the day. why is the back of the RO not finished like any other part of the watch? It is kind of sandblasted, by why wouldn't they brush it to match the rest of the case or bracelet? It would be a little difficult, but not impossible with everything else they've accomplished... Looks kind of unfinished to me

Are the 5170g white and black models discontinued?
They are no longer listed on Patek's website. If so, I'm glad I got the black dial g w/ Breguet numerals :)
