Watches NEWS
Close-Up: The New Bremont America’s Cup Collection
British watch brand Bremont which already this year began a partnership with Jaguar cars and had prominent placement in the big-budget spy thriller Kingsman has pulled off perhaps its biggest coup yet, announcing last week that it has been appointed as Official Timing Partner to both the 35th America’s Cup and the defending Cup champion, the Oracle Team USA. As with the Jaguar and Kingsman partnerships, the brand, founded by siblings Nick and Giles English, has also introduced an all-new collection of Bremont watches to commemorate the milestone. Here’s what you should know about them (the watches, not the English brothers, though they are also very interesting)…The Bremont America’s Cup collection is made up of two new watches, a simple three-hand-with-date and a bicompax chronograph. Both have 43-mm cases (constructed in Bremont’s signature “Trip-Tick” style) with chronometer-rated movements and maritime-inspired blued steel hands over iv
Uniform Wares 302 Series Watches
Minimalist watch brand Uniform Wares has launched an update to their 300 Series chronograph. The new 302 Series combines a reliable quartz movement with an updated range of finishes and new leather straps. Uniform Wares has been around since 2009 and produces exclusively minimalist and highly legible watches which are clean, modern, and feature very sparse dial layouts. The new 302 Chronograph offers a 42 mm wide steel case which is available in brushed steel, black PVD, or PVD rose gold finishing. The cases are lug-less and promote a very clean and modern aesthetic that pairs nicely with the pump-style pushers and crown for the chronograph and time display. The case measures 11.25 mm tall which should make the 302 very wearable and, due to the lack of traditional lugs, it should be a great fit for smaller wrists that want the visual punch of a larger and more bold watch. The 302 also uses a sapphire crystal and offers 5ATM of water resistance (50m) which is to be expected as these chro
Tissot T-Touch 2 Watch
What do we have here? Doesn't look like a new Tissot T-Touch you say? Well look closer. It is. These are part of the Tissot T-Touch 2 collection of watches, that will secretly replace the original T-Touch models. Actually, the best way to see that they are T-Touch 2 watches is by looking at the LCD screen, and by looking at the back of the watch. I actually didn't have a chance to snap a picture of the back of the watch, but it does say T-Touch 2 back there. The LCD screen is expanded a bit, to look more like that on the T-Touch Expert. The real reason for the new model was because the original T-Touch had some problems with the movement and water resistance. The T-Touch Expert wasn't a replacement because it was bigger and more expensive. So while the T-Touch kept selling well, Tissot was dedicated to releasing a new version that improves upon the original, and resolves the issues that consumers complained about. How do you get a T-Touch 2? Pretty soon Tissot will start to secretly rep

Omega Lume Question
Hey everybody, I have a question about certain Omegas and their lume colors. It seems like the seamaster professionals have a blue lume, whereas I've seen Planet Ocean models with what appears to be either green or blue lume depending on the picture. Most people seem to agree that Omega has very impressive lume, but I'm wondering which color is used on the Planet Ocean?References:i135.photobucket/albums/q...s/IMG_0278.jpg.time2watch.net/images/po2.jpg
