Interesting Omega Limited Editions at Tourbillon Boutique Las Vegas
While browsing the shops at Crystals Shopping Mall in City Center Las Vegas, I had to visit the Tourbillon Boutique to look at the Omegas (of course) :)The salespeople were very professional and went out of their way to answer all of my questions. While I was there I had the privilege of seeing the Omega Tourbillon Skeleton Platinum Limited Edition. It was number 10 of 10 and the last one of its kind in the world. It can be taken home for $ 325,000 U.S. I also saw a regular Omega Tourbilon with a 14K case and band for only $99,000. It has a kind of rounded antique looking bracelet that reminded me of an old Constellation. Somebody nicknamed the bracelet the Wizard of Oz bracelet :)For all of you Planet Ocean LiquidMetal fans that have always wanted one, they currently have 2 in stock. I am talking about the LiquidMetal PO that was released 2 years ago in a limited edition of 1948 pieces. Tourbillon currently has numbers 1580 & 1582 out of 1948 for the very fashionable price of $ 580
Tell me about this Patek...
I found this glorious little gem locally and am curious if any of you gents (or ladies) could help me with it, I think it;s a Gondolo of some sort. It seems to be a good price based on what I see other Patek watches selling for but I don't know much about it other than it's in white gold and in pretty great, but obviously worn condition. Can anyone tell me a reference number and a fair price? Thanks,E.Here's a pic...
Leather strap on 5712/1a ?
The Patek Salon in London tell me this is not possible (i.e. to switch over to the strap and deployment from either a 5712G or a 5726). So we have the official line from Patek. Anyone tried it unofficially ?
Q: Sell Pepsi 16710 to buy BLNR?
I think I know what the consensus viewpoint well be, but here goes ...I want a 3-watch collection. 1 GMT. 1 Chrono. 1 Diver.Chrono. I have 2 Vacheron Overseas Chronos - both purchased new in 2016 and prior generation to the one currently being sold. I will sell the white one and keep the blue one. I like the white one. I love the blue one.Diver. I am going to pick up an SD43 when I fly back to the U.S. next month.GMT. I also have a Y-series Pepsi 16710 that I bought new about 15 years ago. It's in great shape. All papers (even the hand tag and receipt) and box. Serviced on time always, including under 2 years ago. Great watch. I have loved it. I am thinking about selling the Pepsi to get a new BLNR. Rationale - new reference, new movement, better bracelet, somewhat larger and heavier. I am in love with the Pepsi and the colors. I am in love with the BLNR and the colors and have been since it came out.I don't want to have 4 watches or 2 GMTs. So keeping the Pepsi and
Perpetual calendar skydweller?
With the ingenious ring command bezel developed by rolex with the ym 2 and skydweller...from an engineering and production stand point how hard would it be to alter the movement to go from 28 to 1 when transferring from feb to March... instead of just recognizing months that change from 30 or 31 days?
