Not sure if anyone posted this watch yet, but i just saw it in the boutique and its amazing in the metal.Usually I prefer AP blue dials but in this reference i love how the silver/white dial makes the moon phase stand out.please enjoy the pictures. Ref# 26574OR.OO.1220OR.01wrist shot
007 Ltd Edition Bond Omega
I had a look at the bond 007 Lts Edition watch today, must say I like it.There are 100007 made for worldwide distribution, do we think that they will be a collectors item with that number or will it be a dead duck??Thoughts and experience????
New GMT is why the Super Jublee is Soooo Hard to get!
I've been looking for a 63600 for several months now. They are hard to find and the prices have shot up. Now we see why... The new Pepsi GMT is sporting a Jubilee bracelet!Rolex clearly wanted to take them off the market before they released the new GMT at Baselworld 2018.
Addressing Rolex " Under the Radar "
I have seen time and again folks looking for luxury watches in fine dress and sports models with one criteria in mind ... Under the Radar Ok, what does that mean ? You want to be incognito, discreet, modest, unnoticeable, blend in with the crowd, humble, ordinary, moderate, subtle, inconspicuous, understated, unobtrusive, low-key, subdued look, restrained look, prudent, stealth, undercover, covertand or surreptitious ... etc... Ok on and on you get the picture !!! Please forgive me if I've missed an adjective that fits your criteria... I tried to encompass most !!!My point is , if you want a Rolex ... If you want to wear a Rolex... All this mumbo jumbo stealth under the radar stuff actually flies out the window!!! Why ???Wear a Timex, Swatch or Casio if you want under the radar stealth opps!!! Rolex is not under the Radar no matter how much you psych your mind or want it to be ... Yes white gold or SS is less blingy but still Rolex! That said, most people don't even give a hoot about you
Thoughts on rounding out my watch rotation...
So let me start out by saying that I am a man of modest means. I am a public school teacher and spend significant time saving and selecting each purchase. With that preface out of the way my current collection consists of a 16750 matte dial that is currently being serviced, a white dj41 smooth bezel on oyster, and a nomos metro. So I have two lines of thinking here that I would welcome opinions on. 1. I do not have a true dress watch, so I was thinking about the new cartierultra thin in steel that comes out this fall or a reverso. I need it to be fairly versatile as I do not often need a true dress watch. 2. Sell my collection and put it towards one Grail piece. Either the do journe chromatic blue or patek nautalis or aquanaut. Or even a stainless skydwller. Just what I have been mulling over recently and would love any input/feedback. Thanks.
