What size RO would be best?
I've got my heart set on a white face RO, but I'm torn between 37 and 39mm. I've got 6 wrists, so I'm fairly sure the 41mm isn't even a consideration. It'll be a daily wearer, so I want something that's not going to draw as much attention as a ROO. What would people suggest for someone with my rather small wrists?I know the obvious answer is visit a AD and try a few sizes on but I don't think I'll have time over the next month.
Seamaster Question -
Hello, all - New to the forum. Recently inherited this Seamaster and have been unable to find exact model/year without cracking it open. Any thoughts?
Does PP make a 1.5 link for the Nautilus
Does anyone know if they make a 1.5 link for the 5711? I have the stainless steel band- I'm kind of between link sizes. Tolerable wearing a little big but a 1.5 would probably be perfect.
PAM 233 vs PAM 312
So i've owned a 312 in the past and enjoyed it for quite some time. When it came time to sell it, I had decided it was a little too tall for my liking. I wore it in rotation with a 000. Both were sold and i went big with a 422 and a 305. Now I'm back to wanting a 44 again and I'm considering a 233 or a 1088. I'm leaning towards the more classic look of the 233, but I'm hesitating somewhat because of the 1950's case. How different does it wear and feel on the wrist than a 312? One is manual vs automatic, domed crystal vs regular. Any opinions are welcomed... I don't want to regret a 233. The 88 has always been a favorite and the luminor case sits nicely on the writst. helppppppppppppp
Lucky day at the airport (first Rolex)
So, I was walking through Schiphol on Friday, with an hour to kill before my flight home, when I happened upon a 116710LN at the airside Gassan store. It was sitting the the display window (the only SS model they had) and the salesperson said she had just put it out there minutes before.Moments later, it was on my wrist, and I boarded my flight home with a big smile. This is my first Rolex, and as a frequent business traveller, I think the GMT complication will be very useful. Here's a quick picture taken from the lounge. By the way, for those who might be interested in buying a watch from the airport, I paid exactly MSRP minus VAT (which in NL, is 21%), so in this case 7,750 EUR - VAT = 6,404 EUR.
