To celebrate the 125th anniversary of the Poin?on de Gen��ve quality hallmark, Chopard unveils a limited edition of its L.U.C XPS model enhanced with a date window. This watch is powered by Chopard’s in-house L.U.C Calibre 96.01-L (L.U.C 1.96). Laser welding Rose gold possible?
Hey guy, I've been told by so many watch dealer as I've been consulting them on getting a novelty rg. People tell me that rg watch or any gold watch cant be laser welded so if there's a deep scratch I'm screwed. Is this true ? Anyone know or have any experience? He said this is the very reason gold watch price drop more than steel watch as well which if that's the case it make sense. Btw I've been offer a 26401j series 2016 the condition was used with slight scratches. The seller knows me and knowing I want one he send the watch to buff off the light scratches so it look nicer which ruin it for me what's ur thought on that? Any followers of the Seamaster 300M Quartz?
Hi Guys,Never owned an Omega myself, but I'm thinking of buying one for my Father for his birthday. I much prefer the idea of getting hold of a pre-owned quartz model simply because Omega don't produce these anymore. Reason behind getting quartz is, my father has a couple other watches that he likes to swap between so having a quartz he could just put on and not have to worry about setting the time, unlike the automatic which I think has around 48hr power reserve. I personally would like the auto, but I'm just thinking he's not the kind of guy that can be bothered with setting the time and it'd probably end up sitting in the watch box unworn. He's of old age now, so the least amount of hassle for him the better. I want it to be his favourite watch, as his others aren't very fancy etc.Question is how do you guys rate the 300M Quartz, I tried on the current auto model yesterday and got to say it was absolutely lovely....so how does the quartz compare? I'm trying to find one privately and
