Advise on 15400 size
Hi ,Just wanted some advise regarding the size of 15400.Currently have bumble bee on diver strap and that works well for me.But the RO would be more office / semi formal watch for me.My wrist size is only 6 1/2 inches and fairly flat and due fact that can't get like new 15300 at decent price I'm thinking just getting the white 15400 instead.I tried it on at AD but with the bracelet not been adjusted it hard to tell. Also may be just in my mind but the black dial looks like better fit but only interested in the white as have alot black faced watches already.Just to add I also have IWC 5001 auto which fits ok my thoughts is that 41mm should wear about the same.Any advise would be welcome many thanksAnish
My 1968 321 Speedmaster & 1969 861 Speedmaster
Over the years I managed to pick up both from original owners these 2 Speedmasters. They are some of my favorite chronos to wear.
New PO Chrono question
Hi guys,I'm not new to watches, but I am new to Omega. The recent buzz about the LM PO chronograph really caught my attention and I'm trying to learn more about the model and brand.Inspite of all the reading and research I've done so far, I'm unable to find answers to two questions:1. Are the chronograph pusher operable underwater? I heard previous PO's were, but can't find info anywhere about the new version. I'd assume yes, but those pushers look like they have screw-in collars. 2. For Ti version, is the Grade 5 Ti treated in someway to increase it's hardness/resistance to scratches. In my experience, Ti scratches sooo much easier than 316 or 904 SS. A finely finished (mirror polished in some areas) Ti would be a scratch magnet, I'd imagine. No? I'd appreciate any help. Thanks guys, Ji
Can you help me identify this PP?
Hello, Apologies for the sub-par photo. This was my grandfather's manual-wind Patek. It was bought for him sometime between 1985 and 1987, but I don't know what model it is (no papers). I'm hoping someone knowledgeable can help me identify it. Not that I plan on selling it, just curious. Thanks!
Daytona 116509 WG vs AP ROO Steel
Good day TRF,I am posting this inquiry in the PAM forum to eliminate any bias response. I am eyeing both of these beautiful watches to add to my collection, Rolex Daytona WG 116509 Racing dial or AP ROO 44mm Panda dial steel. Both are similar in price points. My humble collection consist of a few Rolex (Daytona SS, YM and SubC) PAM (557 and 425)and an IWC BP. If I pick the Daytona WG Racing dial, I have to let go of my Daytona SS. If I end up with the AP ROO, I may let go of the YM. What are your thoughts between the two heavyweights? I value your opinion and would really appreciate your expert response. Thanks TRF.
