Care to comment
H guys. I love the new diver, 42mm, black dial, gorgeous presence. But, the other day I was surfing the web and found this. Care to comment? Is this the old diver? Different size?
wtb in nyc area 28l or 9 l dial.
Looking for one of these and want a face to face only. have some pams that i could trade and cash your way.
D Blue could have been the original BLNR
I took a wrist shot of the BLNR next to the D Blue and noticed the inverse color positioning of the BLNR Bezel next to the dial color of the D Blue and immediately thought Rolex could have named the D Blue: BLNR under the right lighting conditions. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Decided to brush the PCL's on BLNR (pics inside)
And couldn't be happier with the results. Opinions are divided on PCL's, but I'm much more of a fan of the brushed look. It cost just $50 from a professional, so well worth the money to me. It would certainly lower the resale value, but I don't plan on ever parting with this one.Just thought I'd post a few pictures if anyone is considering doing the same thing.
Do I wait for 2018 model or ...........
So yesterday I visited an AD and tried on a few of my usual suspects. Here's the line-up.....1. DJ jubilee 36mm2. Exp I3. OP4. SubI wore my TT DJ with tapestry dial ref 16233 for wear and appearance comparison. The new SS DJ with jubilee bracelet was beautiful however, it quickly made me realize why would I get another DJ when I already own one and its freakin beautiful and its vintage. The Explorer I, I liked it. I liked the dial, the way it appeared on my wrist. Perfect. A simple yet distinguished statement. The OP, not for me. Again, a toned down DJ. No cyclops, oyster bracelet, what no fluted bezel? nice dial though. But it wasnt calling to me.The Submariner. Oh boy! Looked killer in the light, love the contrast of the black n white dial. And there's a functional bezel? You mean I can take my time keeping to another level and use it as a timer ! And compared to my DJ which exudes classical music and candlelit dinner with my Love. This Sub is my heavy metal thunder !!
