The new color in the collection of watches of Hermes Cape Cod
For the ladies, it is the new color in the collection of watches of Hermes Cape Cod . The "Malta blue" proposes a blue tonic veal of Hermes with gray stitching leather bracelet and more blue on the dial used for the outline of the signature art deco time count.
The Elusive Panerai 507 Bronzo
After years of longing for this watch I finally had an opportunity to acquire it. It's truly an amazing time piece.993-1.jpg
Why sell my 233???
Every time i go to a dealer to look at watches they see my 233 and ask if i want to trade. Why is this??Its a keeper i tell them.
Paperweight.
Thought I'd share something that happened today. Went into my AD to see the watch maker for some business and another gentleman walks in and has a TT black sub circa 2002 with some damage. Scratched crystal and bezel with the lume pip missing. He is asking the watch maker if he can still get a new bezel and he's paranoid because he doesn't want to wet it thinking the lume pip hole in the bezel is going to let water into the watch case As the watch maker is getting the bracelet off to open a work ticket the man mentions to me that it was passed down to/left to him and obviously meant something to him. I thought it looked ok but the watch looked off to me. The crystal seemed to sit higher than the bezel than it should but then again I don't have massive experience with older ones but I did own an 16610LV for a while. He's worried a full service right now will cost too much but just wants a new bezel fair enough. After some chit chat I hear Can't do anything with this, it's a fake the wa
Need help: new 116710LN or 116710 BLNR
Desperately need your guidance on whether to buy the Black GMT or Batman. I am trading in my Air King which I have had for 9 years. My heart is set on Batman, which I have found (5 - 6 hour round trip drive from my house). However, my local AD includes the first overhaul for free with any purchase. Naturally the local AD doesn't have Batman, just the Black GMT. Does anyone else think about total cost of ownership or am I overthinking this. I could always trade in the Batman in 7 years for a different/ new model thus negating the overhaul value of the negotiation. Any help you can provide is appreciated. Looking to pull the trigger next Wednesday. Thanks!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
