Dievas Timeattack Chronograph
Dievas, makers of the Vortex and Focal tactical watches, just announced the release of their first chronograph, the Timeattack. Keeping with their aggressive no-fuss style, the Timeattack is wrought with hard-edges and utilitarian details.? Featuring straight lugs, a black bezel with a diamond-pattern textures side, screwdown crown and chrono-pushers, multilayered lume, sapphire crystal and their proprietary 6Steel hardened steel; this watch is not joking around.Case: Micro-blasted Dievas 6SteelMovement: Valjoux 7750 25 jewel automatic chronographDial: BlackLume: Multi-layered SuperLuminovaLens: Domed sapphireCase Back: N/AStrap: NyTech waterproof material + Nylon NatoWater Res.: 300mDimensions: 43mm, 49.5mm lug-to-lug,Thickness: 15.5mmLug Width: 20mmCrown: 7mm screwdownWarranty: 2 years The dial of the Timeattack has the typical 7750 layout and features, though they did forego the day, which I think was a smart choice as it would have distracted from the sub-dials. Shock resistance of seamaster 300 master co axial
Anyone know the tolerances of the shock resistance? Dropped my new LE Spectre seamaster 300 about 3 or 4 feet onto carpet. Was not a hard hit, but saw it lost time after. The watch has been a little unpredictable - was loosing about a second a say when I got it, put on a winder started gaining about a second + or so a day. Then after one night, gained like 7 seconds in 12 hours. I then Let it run down and rest it and it was running +/- .02 seconds, then lost about .6 seconds in 5 1/2 hours after drop. This has th new Si14 balance spring. Any thoughts/experiences?
What to do with an Omega credit note??
Hi All, I bought an Aqua Terra GMT in Oct 2010 only for the movement to keep breaking down!! This initiated a lengthy period when Omega tried to fix the problem, send it back to me, only for it to break again in a couple of weeks. In April 2011 they finally discovered an intermittant fatal flaw in the escapement and offered a replacement. Having lost all confidence in that model i wanted to see the back of it! Omega offered me a credit note / replacement up to the value (5,450 - replacement sourced by the London Boutique) but nothing really caught my eye at the time and thought i'd wait until the release of the 9300 PO or better still the 8500 Ti PO (9300 Ti PO out of my budget). Whatever watch i get i am hoping to sell as unused. Any advice as to which model will be more desirable in the second hand market, although unused? I was also looking at the AT Annual Date or Date for similar price but there is not so much a 'buzz' surrounding these models as there is with the PO. Thanks!

5 digit tool watches they once were in 16520, 16710 and 16610LV. Less bling but more charm?
