Showing at WatchTime New York 2015: F.P. Journe Chronomtre Optimum
America's largest luxury watch show is less than a week away! WatchTime New York takes place at Manhattan's Gotham Hall on October 23-24 (Click here for event details and to purchase tickets) and features more than 20 luxury watch brands. Among them is F.P. Journe, which will showcase its horological chef d’oeuvre, the Chronomtre Optimum.Even though he has created many very complicated watches, the brand’s founder, French watchmaker Francois-Paul Journe, has always been interested in accuracy above all. The Chronomtre Optimum takes that quest for timekeeping precision to a new level. The watch, which Journe calls the “masterpiece” of his eponymous brand’s Souveraine collection, incorporates in its manufacture movement all of the technologies that Journe has developed which have previously debuted in other Souveraine watches to ensure ideal timekeeping precision and stability. The Chronomtre Optimum includes a double barrel with two springs, in a para
Leather Strap for Omega Speedmatser 3573.50
This is my first Omega (maybe my only?). Found one brand new in wrap overseas. Anyways, I'd like to get a nice leather strap for it, but I'm not sure what leather strap models will fit the 3573.50. Also, do you know if I can pick up a leather strap with the Omega watch clasp (rather than the buckle)?
Omega Planet Ocean 42mm Questions before purchase
Hi all, I'm looking at two Planet Ocean 42mm, 232.30.42.21.01.001 stainless Liquid Metal, and 232.90.42.21.03.001 Titanium Liquid Metal blue dial. How do these wear in comparison to the original Planet Ocean 42mm 2201.50.00 (case height, weight, top-heavy, bracelet width)? Thanks in advance!!
Omega Seamaster help!!!!
Hi everyone... got some questions about a Seamaster.I have included the picture below... sorry, I don't have an individual pic of the omega right now. Its the one all the way to the right.Q1: Does anyone know if the manual winding have any restrictions? Like how many times can I wind it with out breaking it? I have checked the inside, and everything is very clean and fine. Q2: Does anyone know where I can get a new band? its a very unique bracelete IMO. I haven't really seen any aftermarket bracelete for this watch. Any pictures are welcome!!!Q3: Does anyone know what the best way to clean the case would be? I tried to wash it with detergent, but it still has a lot of dark spots. Thanks for any input!!
Got a leather strap for christmas
Hi all,I got a leather strap for Christmas for my DJ41 and am wondering if it will definitely fit. I think the strap size is 21mm from what I have read on here (information has seemed to vary from 20mm to 21mm). It looks like it will fit but won't have much, if any, room at the lugs. I was wondering if anyone knows if 21mm is definitely the right size? This is my first Rolex and I'm concerned that if I do get the strap replaced it will be very difficult to remove due to the lack of play at the lugs as the leather is quite thick. My AD is quite far so don't particularly want to make the trip if it's definitely a no go. Thanks for any advice.
