On the eve of Baselworld 2009, Blancpain presents the big sister of its now famous Fifty Fathoms watch: the brand-new 500 Fathoms. More high-performance and high-tech than ever, the brand's latest diver's watch is water resistant to 1000 meters. The 48 mm brushed titanium case is equipped with a helium decompression valve. To enhance readability, Blancpain has designed large phosphorescent Arabic numerals that are hollowedinto the sunray-brushed metal appliques. The luminescent coating on the hour-markers, bezel markings and hands, along with the red tip of the sweep seconds hand, enhance readability in all circumstances. Ok, so I THINK I know the answer but....
I just got a white dialed Rolex Datejust a couple of months ago. To the dismay of my wife, I'm thinking of adding another nice watch to my household. [Hey, I just turned 52, complex anyone...?] Anyway, I want a black dialed moonphase chrono. So, there is the Omega Speedmaster, or the Longines moonphase, costing about $1,500 less. Gotta get the Omega, right??

Quick question around Warranty card
Just a quick question.. Had my wife drop off my Tudor BBN for service at our local AD. It was making some strange noises and the PR was off. All still under warranty. I gave her an envelope with the receipt and warranty card in it's holder etc. She dropped it off and they told her 4-8 weeks. Didn't bother to check the envelope until now and noticed the warranty card is missing. is this normal practice to keep the card if they were sending it to Rolex for warranty work? Or should I still have the card? Will they be sending it back to me with the watch. Just curious. Thanks
