Watch What-If: Rolex Sea-Dweller 4000
In this edition of watches-dealer's "Watch What-If," designer Niklas Bergenstjerna takes a look at the 2014 Rolex Sea-Dweller 4000 dive watch (hands-on here), and imagines what it would be like for this icon-inspired diver to have been inspired by other natural frontiers. In a sense, the concept is "what if the Sea-Dweller 4000" was not a dive watch at all, but rather inspired by water, land, air, and space? Of course, at heart, the design of the Rolex Sea-Dweller is all about diving, so this is a mere artistic taste of what it might look like rendered as though it were inspired by something else.Above is what Bergenstjerna calls the "Rolex Sea-Dweller 4000 Land," inspired by just that. Dear AP enthusiastsi see always here in this forum only pictures from AP watches without any scratches. I wear my Rolex SDDS since almost 10 Yeras on my wrist with a lot of scratches.How look like an AP bezel with more than one scratches.....?Everyone have experiences with broken ceramic bezel? What the cost for ceramic and what is the cost for an metal bezel?Thanks for sharing your pictures with me.....

Breitling 815 sub dial hand?
Hello gentleman, I recently picked up this Breitling 815 and just noticed a slight variance in the size of the hand in the sub dial at the 6 o'clock. It appears to be somewhat thinner in width than the hands on the other two sub dials. The dials at the 3 and 9 positions have a gradual flare at the top while the hand in question has very little flare. I'm trying to determine if this is correct or if possibly the hands are replacements. If there are any vintage Breitling buffs on here I would greatly appreciate any feedback. Cheers! 👍
