Watches NEWS
Something new for 2014
I've had my eye on this watch ever since it was released and yesterday it was finally my turn to strap one onto my wrist. This is a departure away from the usual sport's watches that i am so used to but my taste is maturing and the Jumbo is a perfect way for my to break that bond.I've always thought that if i bought this, that it would be one watch that i would pass over to my son and so as we share the same initials to make it extra special i am going to look into having AP do a custom rotor (if it isn't silly money that is:)Happy New Year everyoneLove the green box!Date set. With his big brother. And last but not least my little lad who will be taking possession of it when it hit's 18HAGWEJamie
Inspired By This Forum
Hi Guys & Gals : Absolutely love this forum. You learn something new everyday. This is my lesson for the week. Loved how the carbon GP strap looked on the 44MM RG. So here is mine. Looks like it was made for it IMHO. Wdayya guys think ?Would love to see more pics of mods, strap changes etc. TC,SamSent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk 4
Navitimer on Caliber 01
The Navitimer will come out with the Breitling in-House movement in a limited edition with a 43mm case. For more info:blog.breitlingsource/2010...nally-arrived/Great news but personaly, 43mm will propably be too large for me.
Nautilus 5711 question
Hey all,So I've got my 5711/1A ready to be sized, and I'm a little nervous. If I size the watch at the AD Saturday and walk out the door with it on my wrist, it's mine--no more option to back out. The reason I'm a little nervous is I've tried several times to get comfortable with Rolex SS (oyster) bracelets but for some reason I never can. I hate the way they feel, and always end up putting on straps instead. It seems that the oysters are always either too tight or too loose. So one of the many reasons I chose the nautilus is I've heard they are extremely comfortable--can anyone assure me this bracelet will feel way more comfortable than an oyster, or am I destined to be a strap guy and just setting myself up for failure? Patek doesn't have a strap option for the 5711/1A right? Thanks! Saturday is final decision day so thanks to all for the help!
Old vs New (SD4K vs SD43)
Same dive rating, yet a tale of two very different watches. I was fortunate enough to acquire both over the last two weeks. I believe the SD4K is destined to be a true classic, but the SD43 is also important in marking a turning point in the SD's legacy.Which one do you prefer, and why? I'd love to hear everyone's take on it!
