Hublot Big Bang Chrono Tourbillon Ferrari Watch
It's here. This is the first Ferrari branded Hublot timepiece to come out of the two brand's joint partnership. Unveiled in China, the watch called the Hublot Big Bang Chrono Tourbillon Ferrari is meant to celebrate the quizzically celebration-worthy 20th anniversary of the first Ferrari car sold in China. I don't even think the dealerships there knew about that.Limited to just 20 pieces the watch (ref. 308.QX.1110.HR.SCF11) will be offered in a 44mm wide all carbon fiber case with red tinted sapphire crystal. See the Ferrari logo as part of the chronograph subdial. The movement is the Hublot caliber 6300 column-wheel chronograph with tourbillon and power reserve. You can see the full tech specs below. Hublot considers this as a bit of a preview for a larger Ferrari watch collection from the brand that will debut at Baselworld 2012.Tech Specs from Hublot:BIG BANG CHRONO TOURBILLON FERRARI20th Anniversary of the First Ferrari in ChinaTechnical detailsReference 308.QX.1110.HR.SCF11Series
Thoughts on this Omega please
Hi,I am looking at a new Omega SMP 300M Chronometer with black ceramic bezel. Beautiful watch and the price seems right new at around $3,200.00.Here is my question. The older Omega Seamaster Professional's seem to sell for closer to $1,500 - $2,000. Can I expect to lose $1K in depreciation in 1-3 years on an Omega? I guess that seems a high depreciation rate, is that why I should consider a Rolex Sub or Explorer?Appreciate your thoughts on this.
LE Planet Ocean

Best way to trade a Patek for a Patek?
Hello everyone. I'm not a collector and only have two watches - a 39mm Exp 1 and a 5127j. Lately I've been thinking I'd prefer the rose gold version of the 5127. I don't have a local AD and wondered what would typically be the best way to pull off a swap like this while losing the least amount? Many thanks!!!
Help needed ....absolute Rolex novice
So I would appreciate some wisdom.......I found this forum as I am an avid Patek wearer/collector; I have a Calatrava, Aquanaut, Nautilus and a Grand Complication now. As much as I love these watches, I feel I have finished the Patek collection and I do not know of any other Patek I really need to add. What I have developed a yearning for is to add a Rolex as my fifth mega watch, and then I ought to be very happy. My instinct is I would like something gold, and - if I may say so - a little blingy. The Patek watches are all relatively small and low-key and I certainly have no gold at all. With that in mind, and given I really know nothing of note about the Rolex range (I did have a vintage Datejust once but that was a very simple albeit elegant watch) any recommendations? Budget I guess - in GBP - would be up to say 30,000 or so.Grateful for any ideas/pointers.
