Advice Needed - Best Patek Dress Watch that Wears Casually
Hey Everyone,I am finally feeling the pull of a Patek dress watch.Seeing the 5270 (white dial) and 5131r in person has cast a spell on me.But are those too dressy for more casual attire?Since dress watches are not something I have a lot of experience with,I am coming here to seek sage advice.Question: Which Patek Dress watch references, metals, dial colors etc. are the easiest to wear with casual attire as well as more dressed up.I am not looking for any Nautilus (including 5980, 5990, etc) or Aquanaut references, but more the classic (and modern) Patek dress watch references.Main criteria 1) Definitely under $120-130K (but more realistically $50-100K range)2) Must dress down to even jeans, shorts, sandals, nice shirts, and sharp graphic tees even. Duty Charge of GMT Master II from Japan?
I am in the market for a GMT Master II BLNR and will be in Japan next month. If I buy it there, I can avoid taxes in Japan, but I SHOULD claim it upon returning to the U.S. and pay duty on it. Does anyone know what the duty for such a purchase would be? I don't want to be surprised and want to be honest with claiming it.
