My absolute favorite is the ap
I don't know what it is about audemars, just got that 233 and I wore it today but was constantly thinking about my rubberclad. I think I need more audemars in my collection. Sorry abou the magnifying glass was inspecting my watches. A little OCD.
Getting Ready for the F1 Season to Start!!!
I can't wait for the Formula 1 season to begin. Looking forward to the Australian Grand Prix in two weekends. Already honoring my all time favorite driver Mr. Ayrton Senna RIP. Anybody else follows F1??? Anyone attending the next race in Australia???Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk. Watches are the new currency!
First Paneria
A friend showed up on our annual Scotland hunting trip with a new Paneria. Up to now, I've only seen him wear Rolex. I'm intrigued. I own 4 Rolex and 2 Patek and I'm toying with the idea of adding a Paneria, but the choices are bewildering even after a lot of research.I want a date and the tritium lume and the crown protector. I have a 7 wrist so the 47mm is too big. I'm confused about in house movement vs ETA movement. I don't like the ceramic look. I have old eyes so ease of reading the time is important.Suggestions?
Tudor North Flag - Flop?
Is it safe to Tudor North Flag is not a popular model? Whenever Tudor has a recent release from Black Bay Red, Black Bay Blue, Pelagos - Black and Blue and now Black Bay Black.. we seen too much excitement over it and lot of incoming threads. With the recent release of BBB, Tudor has outdone itself and the numerous incoming threads itself shows the story that its going to be very successful model. So, after the relaunch of Tudor - all the models (BBB, Pelagos, Heritage Chrono and Chronograph) are sold to an extent but I don't see that happening with North Flag. It is difficult to prefer it even in Tudor brand alone and then it has to compete with similar priced watches (lower end Omega, etc) and its going to be a difficult battle to win. So, what do you guys this? Will North Flag will be successful? Or will eventually will be stopped after few years of production?
Hong Kong a bust...
Read all the posts about the shortages on sport models, but didn't want to believe it. Really thought I could pick up a new Z-Blue Milgauss or an Explorer II or maybe get extremely lucky with a Ceramic Daytona, but have gone to 6 Rolex Boutiques, 3 on the Kowloon side and 3 on the HK island side and they are all out of just about every sport model. It looks really weird because a whole section of their case is empty, with the exception of maybe a solid white gold Sky Dweller or a solid yellow gold Yachtmaster II, or a two tone rose gold Yachtmaster II. Going to keep looking, but not optimistic
