Watches NEWS
Newbie please help.
Hi guys,As the title, im a complete newbie to watch world. After doing research for a while, i narrow down some of these models that i find on chrono that fit my taste and my budget:.chrono24/en/audemarsp...-id2643180.htm.chrono24/en/audemarsp...m&watchTypes=U.chrono24/en/audemarsp...=2&tab=detailsMy question is: how do i avoid a scam and get what i pay for? 10.000-12.000 is a lot of money to me after all. How can i be sure that after i make a payment, the seller will ship it to me? What can i do if the watch arrive not as describle or not working probly? Or in worst case, it is a fake watch? Also, please be kind and give me as many advice as possible as im totally naive about watch.Thank you in advance.

Incoming: Omega Gray Side of the Moon
Just purchase an Omega Gray Side of the Moon. I have been looking at the ceramic Omega's since the introduction of the Dark Side of the Moon and found the Gray to be to my liking. I have previously owned the Speedmaster 9300 in steel and the 42mm Speedmaster and moved both of those watches based on the fit with the metal bands. With the Gray Side there is no real weight to the watch and the alligator band fits great. I love the look and will see how it fits into my collection.
Need help and advice on this Patek Philippe model
Hi guys....?My wife Just received this vintage patek watch from her mother.... Her mother bought it in 1981 where she was in Singapore. ?Its a white gold with diamond bezel. Please see picture.Do any of you know this paticular model? How much is the resale value on this particular model today? By counting the number of diamonds it self, its approx 108 pcs more or less. I cannot measure the diamond size but roughly between 0.02 Ct - 0.04 Ct.Watch is still in good condition and complete with original box and paper.Im a rolex and omega fans, so i know little about patek model. Appriciate your kind advise... Thanks so much..
Rolex LV sub rehaut question
Hi folks,It's been a long time and I am not only the proud owner of my Airking, which, as my daily beater for 10 years never misbehaved ever. Still performing with the same accuracy as the day I bought it.Anyway - last year my local jeweller had a Sub LV - only seen one before and that was on someone's wrist. It was 2006 and mint. I bought it for $5,000 - which is a lot of money for me to spend impulsively.I like the fact that, unlike my AK (which I still see as the most Platonic design of a wrist watch), it doesn't have the engraved rehaut. Are the plain rehauts any more collectable? or in the future? In fact, are Rolex still making LVs?I have fallen in love with it. The green is stunning and the bezel is used all the time for me to time my tea brewing or the cats being outside in the freezing Indiana weather!Apologies if this has been covered in another thread.
