Bought my first Omega what do you think?
I managed to get my first Omega Planet Ocean XL for $2600 in mint condition. The seller has a good rep and everything looks great via the pictures and info he listed. I love big watches and I really like the orange bezel. Did I pay to much at $2600? I really wanted a Sub but couldn't find one I liked that fit the budget. The only think I didn't like was the fact that it doesn't come with a warranty card. The dealer said it was a gray market piece so it didn't come with one. Will this be a problem once it needs serviced? Also, what about a watch winder should I have one of these? I know lots of questions thank you for the help. Seamaster Pro is to slow :(
My seamaster 2255.80 is runing about 11 seconds slow a day right now.. I got it with a blank warenty card.. So I really dont know when it was produced If it is time for a service or just needs to be regulated.. Help on how to figure the age of my watch.. Thanks Chris

Obsession??????
Well guys this is the second time that I make a question about this strange star like form hallmark in my Seamaster, thanks to JJ & Delldeaton who kindly reply to my post & PM. Anyways, for me is a very interesting mark. Ive been guessing that maybe if this is the only one with this mark its make a one of the kind watch, I dont think that this is a non factory hallmark because is to centralize and it looks the same size and deep as the serial # on the watch. I wonder if you guys could check your watches, just to see if they have something similar. I also send some e-mails to Omega but they dont answer, I imagine how much e-mails they receive daily asking stupid questions. Anyone of you know what can I do to investigate about this?? who and where to call?? I honestly dont know where to start. I just keep wondering, do I have an obsession with this mark, or I have a point here???The serial # of my watch is 60174674, I think could be from 1998 or earlier. Just in case if someone h

Contemplating my next potential purchase and this PP is a potential candidate. Any thoughts? Or it will be redundant as I already have the 5205R? I think while both are annual calendars, they feel and wear quite different. I don't have a WG watch at the moment. Another Nautilus will be a great pair but somehow all the current Nautilus is off for me one way or another. Here's a pic ( not mine ).

As I have said 2 will go away, the Daytona and the 233K, so thought I might share some pics with you guys, since not even my best friend knows what watches I have, he knows I have the sub and the Pam 82, but that's it, I tend to avoid wearing them in a too obvious way, so this is the only place I can talk and share my passion of watches. Have to admit cheating a little as I have included also my wife's Rolex in the lot :smoking:
