Hands-On: With The Breguet 7077 La Tradition Chronograph Indpendant
Breguet introduced somewhat of a show-stopper with its new 7077 La Tradition Chronograph this year. The La Tradition line is no stranger to innovation - e.g. the Fusée Tourbillon - but the 7077 Chronograph represents quite a bit of technical innovation. For starters, it essentially contains two movements and a complete separation of timekeeping versus chronograph-ing accuracy. Literally. One balance is always in full swing, while the other springs into higher-frequency action when activating the chronograph. 1 OF 3 The new 7077 Chronograph is almost completely open-worked. Front and center at 12 o'clock is a sub dial with hob-nail pattern guilloche work in the expected Breguet style. Carved out from this dial in an expansive fashion are the power reserve indicator on the right and the chronograph minutes on the left.A medley of blasted plates, perfectly decouvertured jewel holes and sharp beveling make up the bulk of what's on display, until we reach the tw
Pricing on a 15400 AD vs Trusted Seller
Hi Rolex Forums, first post here.I'm in the market for an AP 15400, undecided on dial color. I'm fortunate enough to have two ADs within a short drive. Does anyone have experience on what I can expect on pricing flexibility? Will they cut a deal?I bought my Panerai from an AD and I can't say the extra cash + tax was worth the service or some sort of non existent friendship I'm suppose to have. Watch is great, but honestly when looking at what's available for no tax and a substantial discount in the trusted seller market I'm struggling with the idea of paying thousands extra to purchase from an AD.
AP lover ?
I own some AP watches now, one of them is Diver. 2 days ago I just bought 5980 bracelet. Im wearing it 2 days straight and today Change to the diver. And i realized that I love this diver more then my new 5980. The feel, the size everything. I think AP is my watch. But I still gonna keep the 5980 because it's Patek , I have to own one.
Got this odd Speedy from Japan - 3513.33
When I saw this watch I searched for a few months for the best specimen I could find. Hilariously, the whole time I was looking I thought the dial was white but in person it is definitely silver. I'm apparently blind.
quest about screwed chrono pushers.
Hi guysI wanted to ask the following questions about the screwed-in chrono pushers of the Omega Seamaster series (the Bond ones and the PO) :1). Does one have to un-screw to use the pushers?2). If one doesn't have to unscrew the chrono pushers, does that mean that the chrono functions are active at the rated depths i.e. 300m for the seamasters and 600m for the PO?3). Is the operating mechanism and procedure the same for the PO and the seamaster? ( i.e. unscrewing the oushers before using the rated depth of use etc)thanks a lotregards,Asad Abbas Awan
