Broadway Debut: New Watch Models Launch at WatchTime New York 2015
When a new play wants to make a big splash, it opens on Broadway. When a watch company wants to put its newest timepieces in front of the most avid and knowledgeable collectors, it also turns to Broadway specifically Gotham Hall at 1356 Boradway, site of last weekend’s WatchTime New York event. Here are the timepieces that U.S. watch aficionados saw for the first time at the event. The very first version of the Armin Strom Skeleton Pure in white gold made its debut at WTNY. The watch a limited edition of 100 pieces features Armin Strom’s skeletonized Caliber ARM09-S, here with the bridges accentuated by a blue 3D PVD colorization and then meticulously electroplated with rhodium by the brand’s in-house artisans. The manual-wind, double-barrel movement offers an eight-day power reserve with hours, minutes, small seconds and power-reserve indicator. The Ball Fireman NECC is an uber-masculine new model with a 42-mm stainless steel case and a stainless steel carbide, r
Olympus Instruction Manual
Does anyone know where I could get an on-line version of the Olympus User Manual? I have the manual at home, but I would like to have a pdf so I can access the setting instructions when I am away from home, like now, when I'm at the office.
Incoming!! All Credit to Tom!
Possibly the last white dial 5980 in captivity, just got it in this morning (thankfully ahead of the Harvey, was worried it might be stuck at the post office for a week here in Houston!). First Patek and absolutely love it! Thanks to Tom (tomalf123) who sourced it, never thought I'd find one new from an AD but shouldn't have underestimated the forums! I know the white dial isn't to everyone's taste but I love it, clean and easy to read and the matching subdial color is perfect to my eye. As I understand it, the vertical clutch should alleviate the wear issues associated with keeping the chrono engaged, anyone have any issues with that on this model at all? I just like a running seconds hand.On to pics, still need a resize but probably going to wait out the storm, still in shock that I am an official Patek owner, thanks to all for the help and enabling
Look what I found at my AD!
This beautiful 5167/A just came in. What an awesome timepiece! I purchased one last year from the same AD, and they were very kind to me. I absolutely love my 5167. If anybody is interested, PM me and I will share the name and phone of the General Manager.
Panerai Pam 111
I have recently bought this watch and cannot help but notice the letting for the word 'Panerai' looks strange, specifically the A and I spacing looks larger than it perhaps should be. I have read online this could be a tell tale sign of a fake! This watch has come with its box and all paperwork, including service papers. Perhaps I am being overly sceptical.Opinions would be appreciated...
