March LA.B AM3 Review
Based is LA and Biarritz, France, March LA.B has set out to create watches that mix the ambiance and style of 60's and 70's luxury with contemporary manufacturing and remarkable detailing. A quick look at their instagram will give you a better sense of this, as they mix photos of their watches with classic cars, a still from a Bond flick (Connery era, of course) and the odd Helmut Newton photograph. While brands often attempt to associate themselves with iconic imagery to bask in the style of others, March LA.B's watches are the first I've seen that actually achieve it. Quietly, they mix form, finishing, color and material to create pieces that are dark, handsome and stylish. Often, the watches we discuss on worn&wound can be categorized as rugged, slick, classic, aggressive, masculine, etc While many of those terms still apply, the March LA.B AM3 adds a word we don't often use: glamorous. While authentic style gets you a long way, design, finishing and value complete a quality watc

once, this watch belongs to my grandfather, he gave it to my father, and now its belongs to me :)60's 3430
Sizing my BLNR
So after playing around with the sizing on my BLNR I’ve found the most comfortable for me is by having 5 links on the 12 o’clock, 4 links on the 6 o’clock, microadjustment in the middle slot, and easylink extended out. Is it ok to have the easylink extended all the time? I would prefer to have the easily link closed so I have to option to extend when my wrist swells up. My guess is a full link is 10mm, easy link is 5mm and each microadjustment slot is 3mm. My preferred fit of 9 links, middle slot in the clasp, and easylink extended is a baseline of 0. My index finger fits under the clasp. If I keep the same amount of links, close the easylink (-5mm) and go to the loosest adjustment on the clasp (+3mm), I would be 2mm smaller than the baseline. This is my second choice, but I’d prefer to have it a tad looser as only my pinky fits under the clasp. If I add an extra link (+10mm), go to the tightest slot (-3mm), and close the extension (-5mm) I would be 2mm larger t
After thorough review, this watch needs to be in EVERYONES collection.
Let me first start by saying I was wrong.I'll admit whenever someone would bring up Tudor, I'd roll my eyes. All this talk about the Black Bay on the forums. Why would I care about a watch that was budget version of a Submariner? Especially since I have many Rolex divers...... stupid me.My snobbish attitude towards Tudor kept me away from probably one of the best modern sport watches of our time. Fast forward to the Vegas GTG. My brothers graduation was coming up, so I decided to get a Black Bay Heritage ETA for him. I ended up winning another Tudor in the raffle (Hurray TRF!) and chose another BB ETA for myself.I get home, look at it for a bit and throw it in the safe. It might as well have been lost in between all the other watches. Even the Rolex stable wasn't getting much time since I've been in the AP/PP pool, why would the Tudor see the light of day again?Months go by, and I figure why not let's put it on. I love my five digits, but they felt a bit undersized and fragile. My six
