Should I Buy This?
AD just called and told me he had this in stock:https://.omegawatches/watch-o...3410392001001/I'm not all that familiar with Omega, but I do know the overwhelming majority can be had second hand at a massive discount. I like the looks of this watch, but not interested in taking a bath.Can anyone provide advice please?

PL 8500 Question
I am ready to pull the trigger on the 8500 XL PO watch.My question though is, why does the one with the rubber strap (w/ orange stitching) differ from the one with the metallic bracelet which is supposedly made of the new liquidmetal and stamped on the back of the skeleton back which is not adorned on this model. Do I need to wait for the latest and greatest still?

Hello,Not been in here before...more of a Rolex person.I have a pal who is wanting to sell one of his 2 Omegas. The first option is his solid gold Seamaster (would it be 14k or 18k?, we wonder), a vintage piece bought circa late 60's, early 70's. The other is a bimetal Constellation, bought in the mid 90's. The older piece has no original box or papers, but a valuation from an Omega dealer when it was servcied 2 years ago. It sees little daily use. The Constellation is a daily user with original box and also a valuation from the same place.I will be able to put up pictures early next week. Just asking the Omegaisti their views on which one would command a better value, which one would you keep, etc.He is planning to sell one of them and I will try to help him in the FS section. he is a professional man of excellent standing, btw, I can vouch for him.Thanks,Michael.
