Omega in "Killing Kennedy"
My copy of this months National Geographic just arrived this morning and I was having a flick through it while I had lunch.On the inside back cover I noticed an advert for a new National Geographic docu-drama called Killing Kennedy staring Rob Lowe. In the ad he appears to be wearing the square Omega that Kennedy made famous...I can't tell whether it's original or the re-issue but at least they're making the effort.After the Argo debacle, with Ben Affleck wearing a Rolex Deep Sea throughout despite the movie being set in the seventies, it's nice to see producers looking at watches and trying to get it right!

Panerai 335/Ceramic Owners
I wanted to get some input from some 335/Ceramic owners. I'm looking to grab a 335 for daily wear and wanted to see how the Ceramic held up vs. steel on nicks, scratches and etc. Also how hard is it to keep the ceramics clean?

How long should it take in a worst case scenario to get a rolex submariner serviced.7-27-17 dropped watch off at Govberg in Philadelphia to get the following items on this unit I purchased new in 19871 band latch repaired or replaced.2 service unit for losing timeWaited a month to receive back an estimate. Only thing that I did not expect was they told me there was some corrosion on the hands.Its been 15 years since I used this watch for diving. After that time I had the unit serviced at Yampels in Haddonfield NJ. Elliot Yampel had been a customer of mine back in the day but this store has long since closed. The watch had stopped dead. Rebuild had taken like 6 weeks. Before the end of august I gave them the go ahead. Been calling every month and I keep hearing they need 2 more weeks. Actually 9-29-17 I called and was told it was due back next weekThen 10-120-17 I was told it would be 2 more weeks.That 2 weeks I was quoted was a month ago.So what should I really expect here as a reaso
