JP Lepine Belharra Black HMS Watch Available
Here is something you don't see every day. The intensely unique HMS watch line from true avant garde French watch maker JP Lepine Belharra is not seen very often. This boutique watchmaker hails from Paris, but has Swiss roots and has a handful of carefully crafted underwater machine looking watches. The HMS (probably standing for "Her Majesty's Ship") watch used JP Lepine Belharra's signature case, which is its most standout feature. The case itself is constructed from several parts and have articulated ball-jointed lugs. The cases are 40mm wide and known to be very comfortable. I like the use of contrasting polish and brushed steel. The watches are based on the designs from some of JP Lepine Belharra's ocean themed pen collections. Also notable is that Belharra makes the limited edition Titanic DNA pens for Romain Jerome. The face is not as "exciting" as the case, but it does not disappoint me. I appreciate how legible it is, and the there is a rich amount of lume covering the surfaces

Patek & Rolex Conundrum ...
I can't tell if something is wrong with me or if this is normal. I own a few Pateks including the 5167 and 5296. I've owned several Rolexes over the past few years including Datejust, Sub, Yachtmaster and sold them all due to size, thickness and comfort issues with the bracelet. I now have an opportunity to pickup a Daytona but afraid I won't like it as well and not looking forward to losing money on a flip. Has anyone else been in the position of never warming up to Rolex and only wanting to wear Patek ? I feel I should own at least one Rolex !? What gives ??
214270 with leather strap...yay or nay?
I've had this Everest strap for a few months. I tried it out when I bought it and thought it was ok, but didn't love it. So I stuck with the bracelet. We are going to Sicily in a few weeks for vacation and kinda want to make the watch a bit more subtle for our travels...so I thought I'd try out the leather again. I'd like to get some opinions. I think I'm where I was before: I like it...don't love it. And, at first, the bracelet is far more comfortable (to me). But I think to make the watch a bit more casual for the trip it'll work.
