Introducing The MeisterSinger Paleograph Chrongraph
Quick! How many hands normally appear on a MeisterSinger watch? One, right? Well, up until recently, that would certainly be the case. With the introduction of the MeisterSinger Paleograph, however, that answer is no longer entirely accurate. Sure, you've still got the singular hour hand (no minutes hand needed), but then there is a whole new compliment of hands showing up on the dial. These are most evident on the ivory-dialed version; although for me, I think I actually prefer the dark blue dial MeisterSinger Paleograph . Aside from my own color preferences, the dark blue dial sort of "hides" the chronograph functionality a bit more, making this look and feel more like a traditional MeisterSinger, in my opinion. Further confounding the expectations of a chronograph is the fact that there are no pushers flanking the crown.Therein lies another clever bit of design - while the Unitas 6497-1 provides the basic movement, MeisterSinger developed a column wheel chronograph module (with the a
Thoughts on Speedy FOIS?
I've been considering purchasing a Speedmaster FOIS to pair with my Explorer. I had been considering a second SS Rolex, but between the upcoming redesigns with newer movements and the skyrocketing prices, it just doesn't make sense for me. Those of you who own one, how do you like this particular Speedy?
Why is it...
I am a member on several different Watch forums and I always visit the sales corner of every one of them.Just came up with the idea to get my Dad a nice pre-loved Aqua Terra, still figuring out what size and color...But I noticed that there aren't (m)any for sale out there, in fact I can't even remember when I ever saw one out there..Any thoughts on this..?
Great Pic!
I'll start....Cheers all,
Incoming!!!!! Finally Got It!
So I want to celebrate my 1000th post with a very special incoming. I've waited to get this watch for almost a year. Last year I planned on getting it when abroad on holiday and while looking around I stumbled into a Rolex AD, as you do, and came out with the BLNR...on my birthday no less, even though other Rolex Boutiques earlier were saying they don't have any, so I couldn't pass on the opportunity as it felt right. Anyway! So then comes January and I end up with an AP RO, and the Panerai gets left behind again but still very much on my mind. So many months later, I'm focused on trying to make it happen with the purchase of the Panerai. I was going abroad again and thought I'll see if I can source something while there. I got in touch with one of my contacts and surely enough he had exactly what I wanted and offered it at an amazing price. So I sorted out payment and I was now the proud owner of a Panerai 422 and back in the Panerai family. The 422 is perfect in so many ways for me. I
