Trade in my AP Diver for JLC MUT moonpahse 18k?
Thinking of trading in my AP Diver for a JLC MUT moonphase 18K (39mm). Any and all comments would be greatly appreciated...especially from those who own or owned both watches.
omega dark side of the moon VS Blancpain fifty fathoms ceramic flyback chronograph
Price is not a consideration. Which do you choose? Both have in-house movements with ceramic cases and open casebacks. Here is the Blancpain.https://.hodinkee/articles/in...ograph-flyback
Guess a future
We all know that ss rolex and sport patek price in grey is crazy. Say like gmt batman, sub hulk, daytona ceramic and ss are selling like 10-40% higher than MSRP. Batman is selling like around usd9k- usd10kHulk is like usd9k- usd11kCeramic daytona usd18k- usd20kNautilus usd50-usd55kAquanaut usd21k- usd25kLets have a little guess for fun now. What do you guys predict:1. This price will be a new normal price?2. Normal price will be a little higher than nowadays price?3. Price will be going back to normal again because this hype will only temporary.I personally predict that the normal price will be a bit lower than current price, but no way it will be lower than MSRPIt will be fun to talk about later within next year
If you can't beat em, join them!
Well looks like another BLNR to add to this Friday's announcements. Thanks to Patrick(OCRROLEXGUY) for a great trade. Love the touch of color coming from my Polar Exp II.
How much discount can I expect from an AD Tudor
I'm buying my first luxury watch soon, I hope. I have my mind set on a Tudor Pelagos (black, probably new model). I have gone to the AD and they quote me 10% under list price. I have phoned other AD but they all stick to the list price. What is a realistic % discount to expect from an AD?I don't mind paying +/- 10% more than the gray marker, but the difference is at the moment closer to 25%. For me this is quite a big deal.
