Photo Report: Recapping The HODINKEE And Tiffany & Co. Event In New York
On the 18th of last month, HODINKEE hosted an event with Tiffany & Co. at their flagship boutique on 5th Avenue. The event was a continued celebration of the CT60 Collection, named for Tiffany founder Charles Lewis Tiffany. For more information on the CT60 Collection see our video here. We were very pleased to have so many HODINKEE readers and Tiffany fans join us! 1 OF 22 2 OF 22 Tiffany CT60 Collection 3 OF 22 4 OF 22 ADVERTISEMENT 5 OF 22 Tiffany CT60 Collection Automatic Chronograph With Date 6 OF 22 7 OF 22 8 OF 22Tiffany CT60 Collection9 OF 22Tiffany CT60 Collection 10 OF 22 11 OF 22 12 OF 22 13 OF 22 14 OF 22 15 OF 2216 OF 22 17 OF 22 ADVERTISEMENT 18 OF 22 19 OF 22 Tiffany "East-West" Watch 20 OF 22 21 OF 22 Tiffany CT60 Collection 22 OF 22 Ph
Pam 111 series question
Hi everyone, I just had a question about the whole series thing. I know that the letters indicate what year the watch was produced in, and I also know that up to a certain letter the 111 were sausage dials and then switched to sandwich dials. I know that CG used to be polished now brushed, and I know that the movement had panerai stamped all over it and now it doesn't.However, I have had trouble finding out what the differences between let's say a 111 J series and a more recent N series apart from the year it was produced. Can anyone shed some light on differences from J series 111 and onward? Thanks.
How to start looking?
Hi all! First post here. I just started collecting watches last year and I'm planning on getting a vintage DJ as my first Rolex (1601, 16013 etc).Question is, I have no idea how to start looking, or how to discern between good and bad sellers, or what the reasonable prices are, among other things.Would you guys have any advice for a newbie like me?Thanks!Quick edit: if this is better off being posted in the Vintage discussion, let me know and I'll gladly post there!

Why I am wearing a Timex
I am treating myself to a Hulk, for Christmas. It will be a while til I can memorize 116610LV like you folks. It is wrapped and under the tree. I just received an Email yesterday from Mable and Michael Young informing me that my bracelet that goes with my Sub 5513 is in their possession in Hong Kong. So, If I want to know the Time I am back to my Timex Expedition. Many thanks to the folks on this forum with their vast experience of all things Rolex and their willingness to share it with the uninformed (ME) !
