Omega Seamaster 8500 - good price?
My local AD got in a brand new PO with the 8500 movement, ceramic bezel, etc. I tried on the 45.5mm and it is spectacular. The price was $6200 US but he said it could be mine for $5400 + the 7.775% sales tax. Is this a good deal or should I look elsewhere, like on this site?He did say it comes with a 4 year warranty from Omega.

Good Price on a used Grey Dial Datejust 36?
Hello all,Im a long time lurker, but as the topic states. I was wondering what a good starting price for a used grey dial 36mm datejust (Fluted bezel) would be. The significance or rarity isn't really a concern. Completely in the dark in terms of what a good value would be, and any potential pitfalls. Any help would be much appreciated.Thank you,Bo
Just when I thought I was done with Rolex, they pull me back in - Incoming SD43
It all began on a Thursday night last week. Decided to pop by the local grey dealer for a chat and coffee. Now, the SD43 was a piece never really on my radar. I had thought the SubC was at the maximum bounds of what my wrist could handle. And it was a piece that I had heard much controversy about, everything from it being a Fat Submariner to not being an actual SeaDweller with the cyclops. With all the supply shortages as well, it was also becoming a frustrating and tiresome exercise searching for pieces I wanted. And the anecdotes on this site didn't help, reading about year long waitlists even for the most basic Sub. At this grey dealer, they had just received an SD43 earlier in the day. I tried it on. The first thing that struck me was the proportions of this piece. With slimmer lugs relative to its case size, a wider bracelet, it felt a world apart from the DeepSea. It was noticeably less thick and heavy as well. But what really drew me to this piece was the matte dial, and the red
